I have been going to Sammy's for years. The donairs are always amazing, with good portions and the most irresistible sauce you can think of. Everytime I go, when the food comes my mouth waters uncontrollably. Ten thumbs up. As a bonus, it is a family owned and operated business, so I always try to support those businesses.

I have been coming here for years. The food, prices, and service changed and not for the better. The food is not as fresh anymore, seems the Donair is always dry. The prices went up and the portions are smaller. I don't know how they can justify charging those prices. The service, well, it won't hurt to put a smile on their faces once a while. Seems like they hate being there. Overall, I would still recommend it as it is better than most Donair places around the area.

Best Donaire around hands down

Really like this place. I've been going for years. Was talking to a guy from Halifax that said they were no good, not authentic, and that I had to try Halifax donair. Sammy's is way better in my opinion. I get the combo plate. The extra charge for the hot sauce feels a little nickel and dimey but I pay because I'm addicted. Careful though, it's freaking hot!

"So you like the juice huh?" Yes, and everything else. True donairs with proper sauce. Not just gyro meat with a different presentation. Meat was a bit dry, but had a wonderful taste. Lots of sauce. They wrap it in plastic as well as paper to cut down on the mess.

First time there and it was amazing. I've had Donaires before from other places but the sauce and meat here was so much better than the other places I've tried. Definitely will return!

The donair didn’t disappoint. Warning: I ordered mine spicy and the guy warned me it was hot, suggesting I get medium, he wasn’t kidding. I eat extra spicy food all the time and this was no joke. Their “hot” level should be “suicide” but I enjoyed it regardless (the guy did warn me).

It's just not what it used to be. Quality of meat seems to have declined. The sauce is still my favorite

First time eating there in over a decade. Moved out of the area. They are still EXCELLENT. I would eat there every day if I could. Excellent service, portions and food.

Delicious donairs in Burlington. I usually make an excuse to drive down just to get me a bite at this place. Always a good atmosphere and friendly service.

Having heard about this place from a friend, and knowing they've been a Burlington institution for 35 years, I had high expectations. The Donair was closer in consistency to gyro than I was expecting, and $10 seems like a lot for a takeout sandwich. I also dislike places that don't take debit or credit. I'm sure it contributes to the bottom line, but it's 2018 and I almost never have paper money on me.

This place has gone down hill since the last time I remember it. Its fine but not exemplary donair by any stretch.

People who go there, have a way of turning into regulars!! Regular Donair and a Pepsi $11. All you need to satisfy a hunger. Not like any other Donair you will find. Highly recommended!!!

Been going here for years. The best ever. You get great service and the food is the best. I moved over an 1 and half away. But I still drive there no less then once a month. I Love Love their food.

Just killer. The regular donair is huge and messy and delicious. If you're not a monster go for the junior size. If you are, be prepared for a treat. I haven't tried anything else... yet. This mom and pop shop delivers. Bring cash, they don't take debit/credit but have a cash machine on site.

This place was unbelievable. Fast and friendly service with amazing food! Word of advice though... Only go for the hot if you can REALLY handle heat. Flavourful but mouth scorching. Will definetly be going back!

I asked for chicken shwarma on salad...it was dry without any sauce, expensive for the portion size and staff appeared kinda put out that I was asking for this modification to the menu. I won't go back for this item again unfortunately. I believe their donar is very good.

I don't know how many years these guys have been open for but they have been hands down the best since the day they have opened.

Drove all the way from Lowbanks to get a donair because they say they are open on there website. Very disappointed.

BEST Donairs and Falafels in Burlington! Good quality Halal meat, spiced and cooked perfectly. Would be good to get with the times and have a few more veggie options (like pickled red cabbage, peppers, etc). A bit pricey, especially the drinks. Great people, great food. Cash only!

Sammy's is a Burlington treasure. If you haven't been there to try the Donairs you are missing out. Everytime I've gone it's always been amazing with great service.

Been a fan of this family owned establishment for more than 30 years. I was a customer when they were on Fairview St. The owners are amazing people! The food is top shelf, I’ve enjoyed every menu item. Service is friendly and quick. The restaurant is clean and bright. Worth a try if you’re a newbie. You won’t regret!Cheers!
